Depression is something which I really couldn't put into words. I had to search a lot, literally got stuck with this article. So, you must now understand, how the word"DEPRESSION" itself is so heavy!! Life definitely is not one straight path, you encounter bumps, smooth roads, dry barren land, heavy storms etc. Some storms can pass off when there is proper support. While some people can never come out of those storms. They pretend they have come out but they are badly wounded and are always in rage, gloomy, sarcastic, unhappy etc. If any of your dear ones are being affected by Depression. Don't try to be the counselor/ psychiatrist. There is a reason why Lord made doctors, therapist etc. Get a professional help. Okay, now, let's read about it.

Depression is the state of emotions where you feel empty. Deeply crushed. Happens when you lose someone you dearly loved, broken relationship, consistent failures in life etc. It is more than feeling low. Sometimes, people end up being depressed because they always see life with their past experiences, their body is in an emotional turmoil where they relate every other person and incident with past worst memories. This really damages your health.

Depression can be due to severe emotional blows or series of blows. Like a death of your immediate family member, someone cheating you, getting fired, justice denied etc. Another way to depression is constantly being stressed, work pressure, paying bills, unemployment for many months, harsh divorce cases etc. These kinds of disturbances in life create micro strokes in your brain, emotional-electrical jolts etc. Never, ever ignore them, whatever therapy they need, take them to a psychiatrist who puts them on emotional support therapy and nutrition therapy rather than simply drug therapy ( unless required).

However, there are other reasons for depression as well.It can be due to chronic adrenal fatigue, viral infections ( resulting in inflaming the nerves), heavy metals, toxins, etc.The nutritional way to treat depression is to give more of Nature's food, exercise therapy ( not intense), meditations etc.

If you feel highly stressed, take a day or two off from work, social media etc. Pre-plan those two days way ahead. Here is a one day schedule you can do to release that stress.

1) Get up early to breathe in the fresh air
2) Do relaxed breathing for 30 counts. No holding on of breaths. No heavy inhaling and exhaling. Just simply relax and breathe.
3) Have a glass of warm lemon water to flush your body of the yesterdays' accumulated toxins.
4) Drink 2 liters of water.
5) Have a fruit smoothie without milk.
6) Read a good book that you have been longing to read.
7) Have a salad lunch.
8) Take some rest, listen to soothing music,
9) Go out and walk, or stretch.
10)  Have a warm soup after sunset, do your gratitude ritual, go to sleep.

Support your loved ones by getting the right treatment.Please do not treat yourself. Some issues need to be dealt carefully. Else you will only worsen the situation.

Thyroid is a gland that plays a major in your health. It helps regulate energy production in our body and many physiological processes which can't be explained in just one article. However, my aim is to bring a different insight into it after my research through many articles.

Thyroid and its functions disease are so confusing and widespread. Almost every other person is affected by Hypothyroidism.It's not a happy sight to see almost everyone around you suffering. I have been reading about Thyroid since I entered graduation. I always had this feeling, why the diseases are increasing everyday, with so much freedom and yet we are chained to diseases. How come Food is never the medicine? Slowly I realized, our body has been in the best form, external factors are the causes, that have been affecting us slowly. You might not be aware of your symptoms, deficiencies, toxicity etc. I finally came across an author Anthony Williams , a healer. I completely resonate with his wisdom. Everything starts with that one notorious " VIRUS" . May not create a ruckus immediately but eventually over time, when you don't invest in your health, work relentlessly, insomnia, no activity, hyper-stress!! Yes, you are bound to get any disease. You should be thankful to your body for supporting you when you have been ignoring badly. There comes a time when the natural reservoirs in our body are leached.

Environmental toxins are a major reason for any disease. The toxin may reside in any cell or organ, corroding it, till it appears externally as a symptom. The sad part is we never supported our body in times of need.Leave alone in time of need, we are not even supporting it in major crisis too!!

Stress is another leading cause of diseases.It creates a discord at the hormonal level in the entire body.

Well coming back to the point. Your Thyroid disease can be a result of Environmental toxins, Stress, ofcourse nutrient -deficiencies.

My suggestion for those with hypothyroid would be to create a balance in your life. Love yourself. Take time out to care for yourself. Self-care is nothing but eating healthy, being active with regular exercises, good sleep, supportive stress-management.Detox yourself of toxins.The cure for most of the diseases is in correcting Lifestyle.Disease management is a process, not a miracle pop-pill. When did you last had a fruit plate or say even a fruit? If you are having one fruit a day..say you are alive and struggling to eat healthy. Did you ever checked the definition of fruits on wiki?. It says " a fruit is the seed-bearing structure in flowering plants" . Did you get it? No? Read it again..a little louder..oh..may not be loud with a sound. Read it loud in your mind. "FRUIT- SEED BEARING structure in flowering plants". There, you got it!! Anything treasured is enveloped or sealed. Now you know why Fruits are so valuable?
